At Darspec, each day is unique, and rarely monotonous. Each day stands out from another with
the various events generated by customer requests.
The beginning of a typical day at Darspec often starts with the coffee maker running and a cup of
coffee in hand. Often, correspondences with clients for ongoing projects take top priority, so they
are always responded to promptly. The opportunity to be designated as responsible for one's own
projects, under the guidance of the chief engineer, and to put one’s communication skills into
practice are significant learning advantages at Darspec.
Whether it is continuing with internal projects, conducting research on a topic of interest for an
upcoming presentation and publication, or preparing for a potential visit to customer’s site, our
interns’ research and writing skills are constantly challenged.
Later, around noon, everyone gathers in the cafeteria to have lunch together, and often, the
coffee maker resumes its coffee production.
After lunch, interns often head to the laboratory to perform calibrations and repairs on precision
equipment. Sometimes, these calibrations go smoothly, while other times, significant repairs or

part replacements are needed. During these events, interns are called upon to use their problemsolving skills, creativity, and judgment, since the difficulty of a modification can vary considerably.
Towards the end of a day at Darspec, finishing tasks are undertaken, either to respond to client
communications and/or to make further progress on other assigned projects.
In summary, a day as an engineering intern at Darspec offers a variety of enriching experiences.
This not only helps develop essential technical and interpersonal skills but also actively
contributes to the company's success.
